The Curacao Foundation donates toys to the ninth annual “Feed the Hungry” event

The Curacao Foundation donated $500 worth of toys for the ninth annual “Feed the Hungry” event held by the Golden West Commandery No. 43 Knights Templar on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Bellflower Masonic Temple.

For the past few years the event has brought together the neediest families of the community of Bellflower to offer some holiday spirit and cheer.

The Golden West Commandery No. 43 Knights Templar gave away the toys and candies to dozens of children–all joyfully  handed out by an organization member dressed as Santa, decked out in a red Santa suit and fluffed white beard.

The organization  holds this event annually to assist the  needy and homeless in Bellflower and surrounding area.

Curacao donates $1,000 to Vernon Police Department’s 2nd Annual Operation Santa

When the Vernon Police Department reached out to the Curacao foundation to request gift donations for their 2nd Annual Operation Santa in Vernon, California the Curacao Foundation was more than happy to help.

To help support their own community, the Vernon Police Department sponsored several families from Vernon City Elementary School.  They chose low income families in dire need of assistance, like one family who had recently lost all their belongings in a house fire.

As part of their community assistance initiative, Curacao donates money, supplies and time to communities, like Vernon, in need of assistance.

The Curacao Foundation donated toys including Razor Scooters, board games, baby toys and E-games, as well as home items like booster seats and coffee makers for parents.
